This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Lead customized account experiences for Health Care Providers and significant accounts.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients.
• Establish valuable customer relationships and identify mutual priorities.
• Connect customers with Novartis resources to enhance patient outcomes.
• Balance demand generation with strategic engagement of accounts.
• Navigate and address account challenges with tailored solutions.
• Develop strategic territory plans to drive product demand and support patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office staff to meet customer needs and provide access support.
• Utilize market, competitive, and cross-functional insights to foresee opportunities and tackle challenges.
• Leverage territory data and market trends to reveal local insights and aid pull-through efforts.
• Conduct impactful customer engagements both virtually and in-person.
• Organize planning sessions with key stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
• Provide real-time access support and work alongside Patient Specialty Services.
• Employ digital tools and omni-channel strategies to tailor outreach across virtual and face-to-face environments.
• A bachelor’s degree is required from a 4-year college or university.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured sectors with large, geographically diverse sales teams within the last 5 years; candidates from medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, or B2B fields are also encouraged to apply.
• Proven track record of consistent high performance.
• Experience in navigating and selling to large accounts and key clients.
• Analytical skills to discover, prioritize, and apply relevant information to address customer issues.
• Ethical leadership and the ability to cultivate an environment that encourages ethical behavior and compliance.
• Must live within the territory or within a reasonable commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a broad geographical area.
• Capability to drive and/or fly within the territory.
• A fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• Associate level: recently separated from the US Military with over 4 years of military leadership experience, or limited prior sales experience.
• Territory Account Specialist: 2+ years of experience in a relevant sales role within the last 5 years.
• Senior Territory Account Specialist: 5+ years of experience in a relevant sales role within the last 5 years.
• Executive Territory Account Specialist: 10+ years of experience in a relevant sales role within the last 5 years.
• Ability to collaborate and work across functions within a matrix environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate clinical product information.
• COVID-19 customer credentialing requirements may necessitate vaccination.
