This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +1 more state.
• Lead customized account experiences tailored to the specific needs of each account and healthcare provider.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers.
• Cultivate meaningful relationships and identify common priorities.
• Connect customers with Novartis resources to enhance patient outcomes.
• Balance demand generation with strategic engagement of accounts.
• Address and resolve account challenges with bespoke solutions.
• Develop strategic territory plans to stimulate product demand and support patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to meet customer needs and provide access support.
• Utilize market, competitive, and cross-functional insights to foresee opportunities and address challenges.
• Leverage territory data and market trends to discover local insights and lead customer interactions virtually or in person.
• Organize stakeholder planning sessions to tackle complex challenges.
• Provide real-time access support and work in conjunction with Patient Specialty Services.
• Employ digital tools and omni-channel strategies for personalized virtual and face-to-face customer engagement.
• A Bachelor's degree is required from a four-year college or university.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams within the last five years; candidates from medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, or B2B sectors are also encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated history of consistent high performance.
• Experience in navigating and selling to large accounts and key customers.
• Analytical skills to seek out, prioritize, and apply relevant information to resolve customer issues.
• Ethical leadership with the capability to promote ethical behavior and adherence to company policies and regulations.
• Must reside within the territory or be within a reasonable commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a broad geographic area.
• Ability to drive and/or fly within the territory.
• A fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• Associate level: limited prior sales experience, or 4+ years of military service in a leadership role for recently separated US military candidates.
• Territory Account Specialist: 2+ years of experience in a relevant industry or similarly complex sales role within the last 5 years.
• Senior Territory Account Specialist: 5+ years of experience in a relevant industry or similarly complex sales role within the last 5 years.
• Executive Territory Account Specialist: 10+ years of experience in a relevant industry or similarly complex sales role within the last 5 years.
• Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally in a matrix environment.
• Capability to communicate clinical product information.
• Initial training will include home study of no more than 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
• Customer-facing employees must comply with applicable customer credentialing guidelines, which may include vaccination requirements.
