This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Engage with healthcare providers using in-person, virtual, and digital platforms.
β’ Offer expert knowledge on products and their approved indications.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for healthcare provider (HCP) clients.
β’ Direct clients to Customer Service Specialists and other team members as required.
β’ Ensure that customer inquiries are addressed and gather feedback on the quality of engagement.
β’ Organize and facilitate speaker programs.
β’ Arrange local provider groups to share experiences and outcomes with regional and local leaders.
β’ Elevate opportunities, customer insights, and local market information to the Area Business Lead.
β’ Collaborate in a compliant manner with the ecosystem team to refine targeting and calling strategies.
β’ Utilize customer insights to shape local strategies and business objectives.
β’ Conduct proactive outreach regarding product accessibility, on-label information, and established patient care guidelines.
β’ Monitor territory progress and identify opportunities using competitive intelligence, business reports, sales data, and promotional budgets.
β’ Responsively and compliantly address competitive opportunities and threats.
β’ Foster relationships with office and practice staff.
β’ Deliver well-rounded office visits and sales presentations using approved marketing materials and technical references to support HCPs in improving patient outcomes.
β’ A minimum of one of the following: 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales; less experience will be considered for candidates who successfully complete the Otsuka ReadyNow program.
β’ At least 3+ years of business-to-business (B2B) or comparable outside sales experience in regulated, clinical, or customer engagement settings.
β’ A minimum of 2+ years of clinical healthcare experience (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, RN, or similar) with proven patient-facing, medical education, or therapy-focused responsibilities.
β’ Proficient in communicating complex clinical information, influencing stakeholders, and converting scientific data into clear, actionable value propositions.
β’ A strong commitment to ethical business conduct and a solid understanding of regulatory standards.
β’ Capable of executing business activities in accordance with Company policies and guidelines.
β’ Ability to absorb and convey complex clinical and product information.
β’ Must live within a commutable distance of 50 miles from the primary city in the sales territory.
β’ Familiarity with territory and business factors affecting sales performance.
β’ Competence in educating office personnel on payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
β’ Ability to effectively utilize approved promotional materials and technical references.
β’ Knowledge of products and their competitive landscape.
