This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Engage with healthcare providers utilizing in-person, virtual, and digital tools.
β’ Offer expert knowledge on products and their approved indications.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for healthcare provider customers.
β’ Direct customers to colleagues, such as Customer Service Specialists, when necessary.
β’ Ensure customer needs are addressed and gather feedback on the quality of engagement.
β’ Facilitate speaker programs.
β’ Organize local provider groups to share experiences and outcomes with regional leaders.
β’ Elevate opportunities, feedback, and local market insights to the Area Business Lead.
β’ Collaborate in compliance with Medical, Market Access, Patient Support, and ecosystem teams.
β’ Modify targeting and call point strategies based on insights.
β’ Conduct proactive outreach regarding product access, on-label information, and established patient care guidance.
β’ Monitor territory progress and identify opportunities using competitive data, business reports, sales data, and promotional budgets.
β’ Educate office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
β’ Build relationships with office and practice personnel.
β’ Deliver well-balanced office calls and sales presentations to support healthcare providers in improving patient outcomes.
β’ A minimum of one of the following: 2+ years in pharmaceutical or medical device sales; less experience may be considered for candidates who successfully complete the Otsuka ReadyNow program.
β’ 3+ years of business-to-business (B2B) or equivalent outside sales experience in regulated, clinical, or customer engagement fields.
β’ 2+ years of clinical healthcare experience (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, RN, or similar) with a proven track record in patient-facing, medical education, or therapy-focused roles.
β’ Capability to communicate complex clinical information, influence stakeholders, and translate scientific data into clear, actionable value propositions.
β’ Strong dedication to ethical business practices and comprehension of regulatory standards.
β’ Ability to conduct business activities in alignment with Company policies and guidance.
β’ Proficiency in assimilating and conveying complex clinical and product information.
β’ Must reside within a 50-mile commutable distance from the primary city in the sales territory.
β’ Familiarity with territory and business conditions that influence sales results.
β’ Ability to educate office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
β’ Skillful use of promotional materials.
β’ Market and industry knowledge for overcoming objections and influencing prescribing behaviors.
β’ Capability to identify territory professional groups and network with potential key opinion leaders.
β’ Competency in delivering effective office calls and sales presentations utilizing approved marketing materials and technical references.
β’ In-depth product knowledge of own offerings and competitors.
