This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Engage healthcare provider customers through in-person interactions, virtual meetings, and digital platforms.
β’ Offer expert knowledge on products and their approved conditions, including intricate on-label details.
β’ Proactively reach out to healthcare professionals regarding product access, on-label information, and established patient care guidelines.
β’ Guide customers to Customer Service Specialists and other team members as necessary.
β’ Ensure fulfillment of customer requests and gather feedback on the quality of engagement.
β’ Organize speaker programs to share insights and knowledge.
β’ Coordinate local provider groups to exchange experiences and outcomes with regional leaders.
β’ Communicate opportunities, feedback, and local market insights to the Area Business Lead.
β’ Collaborate in a compliant manner with Medical, Market Access, Patient Support, and ecosystem teams.
β’ Modify targeting and call point strategies based on gathered insights.
β’ Inform local strategies and business objectives.
β’ Utilize competitive data and business reports to monitor progress and identify opportunities within the territory.
β’ Educate office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
β’ Conduct balanced office visits and sales presentations leveraging approved marketing materials and technical references.
β’ Develop relationships with office and practice personnel to enhance patient outcomes.
β’ A minimum of one of the following: 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales; less experience may be considered for those who successfully complete the Otsuka ReadyNow program.
β’ 3+ years of business-to-business (B2B) or equivalent outside sales experience in a regulated, clinical, or customer engagement context.
β’ 2+ years of clinical healthcare experience (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, RN, or similar) with demonstrated responsibilities in patient-facing roles, medical education, or therapy-focused tasks.
β’ Capability to communicate intricate clinical information, influence stakeholders, and convert scientific data into clear, practical value propositions.
β’ Strong dedication to ethical business practices and comprehension of regulatory standards.
β’ Ability to carry out business activities in accordance with Company policies and guidelines.
β’ Capacity to assimilate and convey complex clinical and product information.
β’ Must live within a commutable distance of 50 miles from the primary city in the sales territory.
