This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead a regional sales team by attracting, nurturing, and retaining top-tier talent.
• Provide strategic guidance and performance coaching to foster team excellence.
• Support team development and the onboarding process for new members.
• Drive the regional execution of sales strategies to meet or surpass sales objectives.
• Formulate targeted strategies for the psychiatric and neurological markets.
• Identify regional opportunities and eliminate obstacles to team success.
• Encourage innovative sales methods and best practices.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to guide strategic decisions.
• Hold the team accountable for the execution of sales strategies and achieving objectives.
• Spend time in the field with each account specialist to observe and coach their performance.
• Provide consistent performance feedback and development opportunities.
• Manage regional budgets and expenditures.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, FDA regulations, and industry standards.
• Maintain open lines of communication between field teams and headquarters.
• Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
• Engage with local professional and patient advocacy organizations.
• Coordinate with pharmacies and payers to enhance market access.
• Collaborate with marketing, training, sales operations, and other departments.
• BS/BA degree with over 8 years of sales experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, including at least 3 years in first-line sales management.
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree is preferred with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, a PhD with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proven history of successfully enhancing sales performance.
• Ability to recognize broader organizational impacts across departments and divisions.
• Strong sales inclination and business acumen.
• Demonstrated sales performance, including meeting or exceeding sales quotas, rankings, or receiving recognition awards.
• Experience in successful launches within complex and competitive environments.
• Capability to manage change and act decisively without complete information.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare regulatory landscape.
• Entrepreneurial mindset suited for startup environments.
