This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee a designated geographic area while promoting and expanding Neurocrine products.
• Cultivate long-lasting relationships with physicians and other key customers in targeted accounts.
• Represent Neurocrine brands and their approved indications.
• Inform physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and other external stakeholders about the benefits of the products.
• Propel product acceptance and growth through focused education and strategic management of accounts.
• Implement territory sales strategies via both in-person and virtual communications.
• Recognize and tackle territory-specific opportunities and challenges.
• Oversee promotional resources and budget management.
• Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, payers, and pharmacies.
• Collaborate with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
• Adhere to FDA guidelines, pharmaceutical industry best practices, compliance policies, and company values.
• Maintain a full field presence from Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend events.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• BS/BA degree in a scientific discipline or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech or a related area.
• At least 3 years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical or long-term care, Psychology, or Neurology sales is highly desirable.
• Experience in closed-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is strongly preferred.
• Preference for candidates with psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic experience.
• Familiarity with business systems, salesforce automation platforms, and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce.com, Oracle database, SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS, QlikView, and Veeva.
• Alternatively, a master's degree in science or a related field with at least 2 years of comparable experience is acceptable.
• Knowledge of best practices within the functional discipline and broader related business concepts.
• Strong comprehension of healthcare regulatory and enforcement environments.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales objectives and launching products in complex settings.
• Robust computer skills with practical knowledge of business systems.
• Proficient in sales platforms and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, and Veeva.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong orientation towards sales and account management.
• Ability to navigate complex accounts across diverse care settings.
• Understanding of specialty fulfillment and payer requirements.
• Results-driven with high ethical standards.

• Must reside within the geographic region of the assigned territory.
