This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Oversee a designated geographic territory while promoting and enhancing Neurocrine products.
β’ Cultivate enduring relationships with physicians and other key stakeholders within targeted accounts.
β’ Represent Neurocrine brands and their approved indications effectively.
β’ Educate healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and other external clients about the advantages of our products.
β’ Propel product acceptance and growth through focused education and strategic management of accounts.
β’ Implement territory sales strategies via both in-person and virtual interactions.
β’ Identify and tackle territory-specific opportunities and challenges.
β’ Manage promotional resources and budget effectively.
β’ Establish and sustain relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, payers, and pharmacies.
β’ Collaborate with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
β’ Adhere to FDA guidelines, pharmaceutical industry best practices, compliance policies, and company values.
β’ Maintain a full field presence from Monday to Friday and participate in occasional evening/weekend events.
β’ BS/BA degree in a scientific discipline or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years of commercial pharma/biotech or related experience.
β’ At least 3 years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales is highly preferred.
β’ Experience in close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is strongly preferred.
β’ Psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic experience is strongly desired.
β’ Familiarity with business systems, salesforce automation platforms, and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS, QlikView, and Veeva.
β’ Alternatively, a Master's degree in a scientific discipline or a related field AND 2+ years of comparable experience.
β’ Knowledge of best practices within the functional discipline and broader related business concepts.
β’ Strong understanding of the healthcare regulatory and enforcement landscape.
β’ Proven history of achieving or surpassing sales goals and successful product launches in complex settings.
β’ Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of business systems.
β’ Proficiency in sales platforms and business intelligence tools.
β’ Exceptional project management skills.
β’ Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Strong sales and account management aptitude.
β’ Ability to navigate complex accounts across a variety of care settings.
β’ Understanding of specialty fulfillment and payer requirements.
β’ Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
β’ Must reside within the designated geographic area of the assigned territory.
