This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver remote help-desk and Tier 2 escalation assistance for end users and customers.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop, server, and network hardware.
• Construct, monitor, and sustain client environments across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
• Set up and uphold secure connections across various sites, hosting environments, and remote personnel.
• Oversee and maintain backups, security systems, and other essential services.
• Engage in design projects related to environment, connectivity, and cybersecurity.
• Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks and minimize errors.
• Create training materials and conduct training sessions on new procedures and technologies.
• Offer end-user training on equipment and software applications.
• Execute assigned research and project tasks.
• Communicate with clients and team members via phone and email.
• Follow up post-job completion to ensure client satisfaction.
• Document every interaction, email, and service request in the ticketing system.
• Take part in the after-hours emergency phone rotation as required.
• Assist in disaster scenarios and planned projects outside regular hours.
• Provide backup support to lower-tier staff as necessary.
• Collaborate with the same clients, tickets, and escalation path as US-based engineers.
• Fluent in professional English, both written and spoken.
• Strong foundational knowledge in networking: subnetting, routing, NAT, and network design.
• Proficiency with Windows Server (2012–2025+), Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Experience in administering Microsoft 365 and Azure/Entra.
• Familiarity with firewalls, routers, managed switches, and VLANs.
• Knowledge of Windows desktop OS (10/11) and common business applications.
• Experience with command line and PowerShell scripting.
• Proficient in virtualization using VMware and Hyper-V.
• Strong understanding of contemporary security concepts across IT disciplines.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable remote work environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training with demonstrated experience.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably within an MSP.
• Commitment to continuous education with annual education and certification goals.
• Strongly preferred: Experience with MSP tools, including PSA/ticketing, RMM, and multi-tenant platforms (ConnectWise and Automate).
• Strongly preferred: AWS administration skills.
• Strongly preferred: Experience supporting macOS.
• Strongly preferred: Proficiency in Multi-WAN, wireless, and failover troubleshooting.
• Strongly preferred: Knowledge of IP telephony.
• Strongly preferred: Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery platforms.
• Strongly preferred: Power BI experience.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, logical reasoning, and the ability to remain calm under deadlines.
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals without being condescending.
• Dependable attendance and follow-through.
• A desire for professional growth.
• Technical certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or ITIL are highly preferred.
