Network Security Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Offer technical expertise in managing LAN/WAN networks.

• Deploy, support, and assess network infrastructure.

• Lead activities related to testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, and support.

• Work collaboratively with network team members and business stakeholders to outline requirements and tackle technical obstacles.

• Implement and refine network services and infrastructure.

• Assess current systems and processes to create optimization strategies.

• Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, systems, services, and processes.

• Coordinate and perform comprehensive testing, including end-user reviews.

• Monitor network performance and compile performance statistics and reports.

• Support, maintain, and optimize global Cisco ISE and Cisco SD-WAN deployments.

• Optimize global Palo Alto deployments, including both on-premises firewalls and Prisma Access SASE.

• Address incidents, fulfill service requests, and provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing.

• Assist with network integration, transition, and operational tasks related to mergers and acquisitions.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally holds a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• 5–10 years of relevant expertise.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and execute assigned projects and tasks.

• Strong organizational capabilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Advanced knowledge of IT networking hardware and software and their influence on business processes.

• Cisco CCNP certification is preferred.

• Palo Alto certification is an advantage.
