Network Provisioning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance network solutions while ensuring the integrity of service delivery.

• Physically allocate services and update internal CFA inventory records for DIA, IP Transit, MPLS/VPLS, IP/SDWAN/Security services, and other on-net offerings.

• Collaborate with on-site technicians and GTT clients to activate new services.

• Conduct testing and document the results of service activation.

• Troubleshoot throughput, routing, and other service-related issues during customer acceptance of services.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure timely and resource-efficient service delivery.

• Create, modify, and sustain engineering processes, workflows, and documentation.

• Contribute to the organizational knowledge repository.

• Represent GTT at various technical levels.

• Manage and oversee client service resource allocations.

• Collaborate with teams in Service Delivery, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Sales Engineering, and project management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in supporting the complete network deployment lifecycle for clients.

• Capability to collaborate with customer engineering teams to ensure network requirements are understood, accurately reflected, and implemented.

• Ability to develop both physical and logical design solutions in accordance with engineering best practices.

• Exceptional verbal, written communication, and presentation skills in English.

• Over 5 years of experience in a comparable role – Network Design/Architecture or Implementation.

• Network certifications such as CCNP/CCIE or JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE, or equivalent, focusing on MPLS, TCP/IP, VPN, BGP, QoS, IP Telephony, and related technologies.

• Experience with Juniper equipment, including the PTX, MX, QFX, ACX, and EX series.

• Working knowledge of network services like DNS and DHCP.

• Experience in interfacing with peering providers and facility management.

• Familiarity with IT Service Management best practices.

• Standard working hours, Monday to Friday.
