This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take the lead on network support for application integration across various cloud and SaaS environments.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point for critical network incidents.
• Diagnose and resolve intricate routing challenges, load balancer configurations, and multi-tier application connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with Server Administration, Solutions Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Application Development, and other cross-functional teams.
• Assist with physical server setups, VLAN/VPC provisioning, and secure connectivity across different environments.
• Oversee and maintain firewalls, load balancers, network fabrics, and DDI infrastructure.
• Create, document, and sustain network topologies, standard operating procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Aid in incident response and monitoring processes using tools like PagerDuty and NNMi.
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance across both on-premise and cloud networks.
• Take ownership of network stability and performance metrics, ensuring SLAs are consistently met or surpassed.
• A minimum of 8 years of practical experience in enterprise network engineering.
• At least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Expert-level understanding of BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Experience with complex data center switching architectures, including LACP, vPC, VDS, and tenant separation.
• Integration experience with Google GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Experience connecting to public service providers such as Workday and ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with micro-segmentation environments, including Illumio and Palo Alto Prisma.
• Proven track record in configuring and troubleshooting load balancers, VIPs, SSL offloading, and next-generation firewalls.
• Experience in certificate management and application integration.
• Proficiency in IPAM solutions like Infoblox.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Micro Focus NNMi and PagerDuty.
• Proficiency in ITSM platforms, particularly ServiceNow.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A collaborative approach and experience in cross-functional project execution.
