This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Lead the information technology efforts for several MRO shops throughout the United States.
• Take ownership of the performance, reliability, and availability of local IT infrastructure and applications.
• Ensure secure, stable, and compliant operations across all supported locations.
• Collaborate with shop teams to drive digital enhancements.
• Execute the roadmap for digital advancements across the IT infrastructure and application ecosystem.
• Influence LPBs and lower levels in their decision-making processes.
• Act as the representative for information technology within the Shop leadership team.
• Engage in lean and process improvement initiatives to facilitate business transformation using digital tools.
• Participate in machine instrumentation projects aimed at improving business operations.
• Proactively monitor WAN, LAN, and WLAN network performance and escalate any issues that arise.
• Foster relationships with Central DT product teams to address networking and application challenges.
• Initiate projects focused on technology obsolescence and enhancements.
• Travel 10–15% as required to support additional sites.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with at least 4 years of professional experience, OR an Associate's degree with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience, OR a High School Diploma with at least 9 years of professional experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory.
• Extensive knowledge of IT disciplines, including compute, network, and storage platforms.
• Strong technical foundation in infrastructure technologies.
• Familiarity with business applications utilized at the site and understanding of overall business processes.
• Awareness of the digital product catalog and its integration with site operations.
• Military experience will be considered equivalent to professional experience.
