This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Analyze and resolve challenges pertaining to Network Detection and Response components, endpoint security solutions, cloud integrations, and risk scanners.
• Ensure the seamless operation of the global sensor infrastructure and data collection systems.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering/R&D teams to address product-related challenges.
• Conduct professional analysis and troubleshooting of components deployed on a global scale.
• Engage daily with customers and internal teams.
• Assist in the design and implementation of security solutions tailored for customers.
• Provide support to various teams with inquiries regarding the backend of the Arctic Wolf security platform.
• Manage and prioritize customer inquiries.
• Implement playbook-driven solutions.
• Document newly discovered issues and follow them through to resolution.
• Address customer-reported issues until they are fully resolved.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field OR completed IT vocational training along with 2–3 years of experience in the IT sector.
• Strong foundational knowledge of networking concepts.
• Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as Active Directory.
• Proficiency in German and English at the C1 level.
• Solid grasp of DHCP, DNS, and VLANs.
• Experience working within a Network Operations Center.
• Basic familiarity with PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Preferred: CCNA, Network+ or equivalent certifications.
• Desirable experience in network routing and switching.
• Desirable experience with virtual environments such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Desirable experience with firewalls and IDS/IPS systems.
• Desirable experience with Linux, Windows, and macOS operating systems.
• Desirable experience with cloud technologies including AWS and Azure.
• Preferred: MCSE or Active Directory MCP certification.
• Desirable experience with deployment tools such as GPO, SCCM, Intune, or Jamf.
• Preferred: Security+ certification.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.
• Compliance with AWN's information security policies, standards, and processes.
