Infiniband Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Deploy, manage, and maintain the Infiniband Network infrastructure for the AI Factory in Linux-based environments for both new and existing clientele.

• Act as the subject matter expert during planning discussions and throughout the implementation process with customers.

• Deliver documentation related to handover processes and conduct knowledge transfers as clients start to implement advanced systems.

• Offer feedback to internal teams by reporting bugs, documenting workarounds, and proposing enhancements.

• Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to assess, define, and execute large-scale AI Factory initiatives.

• Serve as the primary customer contact across Networking, System Design, and Automation domains.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of experience providing comprehensive support or deployment services for Infiniband networks.

• Proficient knowledge in troubleshooting Infiniband Networks.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to address and resolve customer-blocking issues effectively.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Infiniband Network certifications (considered a significant advantage).

• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Ethernet networking (considered a significant advantage).

• Background in Linux environments (considered a significant advantage).
