This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Leverage in-depth knowledge of domain, product, industry, and solution areas to design compelling solutions and enhance win and renewal rates.
• Partner with the Sales team throughout the sales cycle, from initial meetings to RFPs, finalist discussions, contracting, and transition to delivery teams.
• Create product solution scopes and proposals.
• Develop customized sales meeting materials for clients and provide education on Alight solutions.
• Conduct solution demonstrations and collaborate with Negotiations, Pricing, Finance, and Value Engineering teams.
• Stay informed on competitors, market trends, industry developments, compliance changes, and Alight's capabilities.
• Offer Health domain expertise for both prospective and current client opportunities.
• Integrate Health solutions with other Alight service areas, including Payroll, Cloud, and Wealth.
• Work alongside Delivery Leaders to exchange market insights and maintain connections with operational and delivery practices.
• Lead discovery and solution scoping for large, complex multi-solution or single-solution deals.
• Identify platform and technology needs, address strategic questions and customer objections, and stimulate demand.
• Account for solution costing and develop business cases.
• Customize materials and demonstrations to align with client requirements and the competitive landscape.
• Direct sales meetings and respond to solution and technical inquiries.
• Document solutions throughout the sales process to ensure transparency and facilitate knowledge transfer for delivery.
• Assist with contracting related to statements of work, transitions, and commercial agreements.
• Review and craft domain-specific RFP responses, as well as client-specific delivery models and service descriptions.
• Manage domain-related RFP follow-ups and help maintain the RFP library.
• Provide feedback from prospects and evaluators to product owners.
• Collaborate with business leaders and product owners on complex application requirements, special developments, and staffing needs.
• Keep sales materials updated with the latest solution advancements.
• Effectively position the Delivery organization based on the competitive landscape and customer requirements.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience across various domain areas or related roles.
• Preferred knowledge in HR/Payroll/Benefits administration and sales.
• Extensive understanding of benefits, HR, payroll, and/or cloud and delivery models.
• Familiarity with administration platform capabilities and compliance considerations.
• Proven track record of applying domain expertise in client delivery or sales.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple concurrent opportunities with agility and organizational skills.
• Exceptional client communication and consulting abilities.
• Established experience in building and nurturing senior client relationships.
• Background in fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% of the time, occasionally on short notice.
• Candidates must possess work authorization in the United States that does not currently or in the future require visa sponsorship.
