This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct company orientations for new employees across all sectors in the specified region and assist with national training initiatives as needed.

• Facilitate annual refresher courses and mandatory training programs across all service lines.

• Provide accredited First Aid certifications and other authorized training courses.

• Carry out driver coaching, theory classes, and practical driving evaluations.

• Encourage and empower learners to achieve successful results and advancement.

• Mentor, support, and evaluate Part-Time Trainers.

• Guide, assist, and nurture Mentors within the region.

• Promote ongoing professional growth.

• Supervise, uphold, and report on training compliance.

• Ensure training records are precise, up-to-date, and verifiable.

• Collaborate effectively with Operations, HR, Compliance, Fleet, and other stakeholders.

• Ensure training meets company standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.

• Identify emerging training requirements due to legislative, industry, contractual, or organizational changes.

• Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of training materials.

• Support the continuous enhancement of training programs, resources, and delivery methods.

• Foster relationships with operational teams and stakeholders.

• Achieve set objectives and key performance indicators.

• Maintain training records using Bamboo and other learning management systems.

• Document accredited learning outcomes with external awarding bodies such as Qualsafe.

• Create and distribute training certificates.

• Generate training reports and compliance documentation.

• Travel across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and nationally as necessary.

• Represent the Training Team and EMED Group in a professional manner.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven understanding of the Ambulance Care Assistant (ACA) role and its associated responsibilities.

• Current First Aid certification or equivalent clinical competency.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Dedication to fostering the development and well-being of colleagues.

• National or regional training experience is expected, with a background in coaching, mentoring, or staff development being beneficial.

• Experience in delivering safeguarding training is desirable.

• Experience in providing health and safety training is advantageous.

• Prior experience in facilitating training, coaching, or competency assessments within an operational healthcare or ambulance setting is ideal.

• Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) or similar, or a willingness to pursue this qualification is preferred.

• Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) is desirable.

• Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards this qualification is preferred.

• Assessor qualification is desirable.

• Driver Instructor qualification, Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), RoSPA qualification, or equivalent is preferred.

• Mental Health First Aider qualification is advantageous.

• Ability to travel within the designated region and nationally as required.

• Flexibility in terms of working locations and hours.
