This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Develop and implement the enterprise quality vision, strategy, roadmap, and operational framework.
• Set enterprise-wide quality objectives, governance structures, and performance benchmarks.
• Oversee the design, execution, and ongoing enhancement of the corporate Quality Management System.
• Provide counsel to executive leadership on quality performance, compliance risks, process maturity, and organizational efficiency.
• Foster a culture of quality excellence, accountability, customer-centric decision-making, and continuous improvement.
• Create and uphold enterprise quality policies, standards, procedures, controls, and governance frameworks.
• Guarantee adherence to ISO 9001, AS9100, CMMI, customer-specific standards, government contracting prerequisites, and international frameworks.
• Lead certification audits, surveillance audits, recertifications, customer evaluations, and regulatory reviews.
• Manage corrective and preventive action programs.
• Keep abreast of emerging industry standards and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with business unit leadership, program management offices, and functional teams to implement quality initiatives.
• Deliver strategic quality leadership across government and commercial programs.
• Cultivate stakeholder relationships and influence decision-making across matrixed and geographically diverse organizations.
• Establish and manage quality metrics, dashboards, KPIs, and leading performance indicators.
• Analyze enterprise quality trends and provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
• Propel data-driven improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance, reinforce compliance, and mitigate business risks.
• Advocate for Lean, Six Sigma, process optimization, and operational excellence methodologies.
• Incorporate quality and compliance principles into enterprise risk management.
• Assess quality-related risks associated with programs, operations, suppliers, and strategic initiatives.
• Enhance customer outcomes, contract performance, and organizational efficiency.
• Ensure prompt resolution of quality issues and bolster customer confidence.
• Lead, mentor, and develop assigned quality professionals and matrixed teams.
• Build organizational capability through training, coaching, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
• Encourage professional growth, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, Industrial Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• 12–15+ years of progressive experience in quality management, compliance, operational excellence, process improvement, or related fields.
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing quality programs, teams, and enterprise initiatives within complex, multi-site organizations.
• Experience in supporting government, defense, aerospace, engineering, technology, or mission-driven organizations.
• Proven track record in managing enterprise quality systems across various business units, functions, and geographic locations.
• Demonstrated success in leading quality transformation initiatives, compliance programs, audit readiness efforts, and enterprise process improvement projects.
• Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, CMMI, and enterprise quality management systems.
• Strong understanding of government contracting environments and customer quality expectations.
• Advanced knowledge of quality auditing methodologies, root cause analysis, corrective action management, and process governance.
• Expertise in risk management, performance measurement, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence methodologies.
• Proven strategic thinking, executive presence, and the ability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills, including change management, team development, coaching, mentoring, and talent management.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement, matrix management, conflict resolution, and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience utilizing enterprise quality management systems, analytics tools, and performance reporting platforms.
• Strong business acumen, including operational, financial, and customer-focused decision-making capabilities.
