National Security Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate and execute security strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, personnel, facilities, and information.

• Evaluate tools, software, and systems.

• Identify risks and vulnerabilities, investigate security breaches, and implement remedial actions.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to incorporate security requirements into business processes and projects.

• Perform regular security assessments, audits, and inspections.

• Maintain and revise emergency response plans and procedures.

• Oversee access control systems, surveillance technologies, and other security solutions.

• Coordinate with internal departments, such as human resources and IT, to ensure adherence to security protocols and standards.

• Lead, identify, and train designated personnel across a shared services environment serving over 20 group companies.

• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, security vendors, and other external partners.

• Provide education to employees on security awareness, policies, and procedures.

• Monitor advancements in security technologies, trends, and regulatory requirements, recommending program enhancements accordingly.

• Document incident findings and execute corrective measures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field.

• At least 10 years of experience in security management, law enforcement, or military service.

• Comprehensive understanding of security principles and practices.

• Extensive knowledge of security technologies, incident management software, access control systems, and CCTV surveillance.

• Capability to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and programs.

• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to security and safety.

• Proficiency in conducting security assessments, audits, and investigations on a large scale.

• Exceptional leadership and management abilities.

• Strong attention to detail and capability to identify and mitigate security risks.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.

• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.

• Relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Certified Security Manager (CSM), are preferred.

• Knowledge of emergency response planning and incident management is preferred.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices is preferred.

• Training or experience in emergency response and crisis management is preferred.
