National Operations Manager, Employee Benefits

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and execute national standards and optimal practices for Employee Benefits operations.

• Recognize inefficiencies and spearhead initiatives to streamline processes, enhance accuracy, and boost productivity across various regions.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, internal controls, and audit protocols; oversee risk management and implement corrective measures.

• Collaborate with IT and business leaders to enhance agency management systems and utilize automation tools effectively.

• Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and develop reporting dashboards to evaluate operational efficiency and promote ongoing improvement.

• Work closely with regional operations leaders, client service teams, and senior management to ensure operational initiatives align with business goals.

• Offer guidance and expertise to regional teams on operational policies, procedures, and system usage.

• Direct operational integration efforts during mergers, acquisitions, or organizational restructuring.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field.

• 6–8 years of experience in insurance brokerage operations, with proven knowledge in Employee Benefits and process enhancement.

• Advanced understanding of operational best practices and methodologies for process improvement.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting data and making informed decisions.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with agency management systems.

• Ability to influence and lead cross-functional initiatives without having direct authority.

• Comprehensive understanding of employee benefits workflows, compliance obligations, and agency management systems.

• Experience with national or multi-regional operational oversight and change management projects.
