National Operations Manager, Commercial Risk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute national operational standards and best practices for Commercial Risk servicing and support functions.

• Identify areas of inefficiency and spearhead initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance accuracy, and boost productivity across various regions.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit standards; oversee risk and implement corrective measures.

• Collaborate with IT and business leaders to maximize the effectiveness of agency management systems and utilize automation tools.

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting dashboards to assess operational effectiveness and foster continuous improvement.

• Partner with regional operations leaders, client service teams, and senior management to synchronize operational initiatives with business goals.

• Provide guidance and specialized knowledge to regional teams regarding operational policies, procedures, and system usage.

• Lead efforts for operational integration during mergers, acquisitions, or organizational restructuring.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, risk management, or a related field.

• 6–8 years of experience in insurance brokerage operations.

• Proven expertise in Commercial Risk and process enhancement.

• Advanced understanding of operational best practices and process improvement methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for interpreting data and making informed decisions.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Familiarity with agency management platforms.

• In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance workflows, compliance requirements, and agency management systems.

• Experience overseeing national or multi-regional operations and managing change initiatives.

• Ability to influence and drive cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
