National Director – Power Delivery, Generation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide national leadership and strategic guidance for Olsson's Power Delivery & Generation sector.

• Collaborate with market, operational, and technical leaders to formulate and implement growth strategies that align with overall firm objectives.

• Supervise financial outcomes, resource allocation, project execution, and operational efficiency.

• Enhance client relationships and identify opportunities to broaden services, penetrate new markets, and foster long-term growth.

• Guide and support Senior Team Leaders, Project Managers, Technical Experts, and other crucial leaders.

• Encourage innovation, technology integration, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate resources across teams and geographical areas to promote sustainable growth and optimize utilization.

• Cultivate collaboration among business units, disciplines, and markets.

• Develop, mentor, and retain high-achieving teams while creating leadership development opportunities.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, emerging technologies, and market prospects.

• Advocate for quality, risk management, and safety initiatives.

• Represent Olsson at client meetings, industry organizations, conferences, strategic partnerships, and professional associations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline is required.

• Over 15 years of progressive experience in the power delivery, substation, transmission, distribution, or power generation fields.

• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

• Proven track record in leading large teams, managing complex projects, and overseeing multi-disciplinary organizations.

• Strong comprehension of project-based consulting, strategic planning, financial management, resource forecasting, and operational performance.

• Demonstrated ability to expand markets, cultivate client relationships, and spearhead business development activities.

• Experience in leading organizational change, fostering innovation, and executing operational enhancements.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building capabilities.

• Capability to influence senior leadership, align diverse teams, and implement long-term strategies across a national organization.

• In-depth understanding of industry trends, regulatory frameworks, and emerging technologies affecting the power sector.
