
National Development Manager – Inside Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Increase Ryder's presence in the market.
• Accelerate the sales process by delivering highly qualified leads to Field Sales.
• Oversee national accounts.
• Engage in nurturing leads based on their alignment with the ideal customer profile and their level of activity.
• Evaluate when leads require personalized attention.
• Conduct one-on-one nurturing sessions using BANT lead qualification criteria.
• Decide if leads warrant the assignment of a sales resource.
• Arrange meetings between sales-qualified leads and Ryder Sales Representatives.
• Inform and develop prospects regarding Ryder's value proposition and range of services.
• Maintain a high volume of calls to pass qualified leads to sales, schedule customer appointments, and drive revenue.
• Identify customer pain points and provide Ryder solutions.
• Engage in discussions related to transportation industry topics.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience is required.
• A minimum of three (3) years of prior Inside Sales experience is preferred.
• At least five (5) years of experience in a B2B sales environment is required.
• Proficiency in technology to accurately research and engage with customers.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships.
• Effective communication with C-Level customers and the Ryder Sales Team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated sales aptitude, assertiveness, persistence, good listening abilities, self-motivation, and excellent closing skills.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Exceptional organizational, time, and activity management skills.
• Capability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, multitask, and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet and exceed monthly and yearly quotas.
• Willingness to acquire selling skills and product knowledge.
