This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee all account management initiatives with Oncology Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs)
• Establish and nurture effective business relationships with GPO headquarters teams
• Foster positive interactions and programs with key members of GPOs and physician practices
• Keep track of competitive contracting activities
• Seek GPO feedback regarding contract structures
• Assist in contract negotiations
• Collaborate with GPOs for contract implementation
• Perform quarterly business reviews with each GPO headquarters
• Convey contract terms and conditions to practices concerning the Oncology portfolio
• Offer insights on exhibits and speaker program experiences to US OCAR for internal planning
• Connect GPO headquarters with US OCAR for fee-for-service engagement as needed
• Share contact information for Strategic Account Managers at GPO headquarters when requested by provider members
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%
• Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree
• Minimum of 3 years in Oncology GPO account management or equivalent experience in oncology
• Knowledge of the oncology community and/or oncology GPOs
• Understanding of oncology products and related diseases
• Familiarity with buy-and-bill (specialty) and oral specialty pharmacy practices is preferred
• Capability to travel approximately 50%
• Excellent communication skills with a strong executive presence
• Proven project management experience coordinating diverse matrix teams within Oncology roles
• Proficient presentation and consultative selling abilities
• Demonstrated success in negotiation skills
• Skills in conflict resolution
• Competence in strategic account planning
• Highly developed leadership abilities
• Strong analytical skills
• Working knowledge of managed care operations, contracting strategies, and the structure and function of healthcare systems
• Awareness of current healthcare trends and policies
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience as a pharmaceutical manager (people leader)
• A valid driving license is required
