MyChart/Hello World Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the main Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Epic MyChart, Hello World, and Ambulatory workflows.

• Enhance and support digital front door initiatives, including patient onboarding, provider search/discovery, scheduling access, and virtual engagement tools.

• Lead and assist in Provider Finder initiatives, focusing on provider profile management, search optimization, scheduling integration, and patient access workflows.

• Promote CIO-sponsored projects aimed at patient access, digital transformation, and enterprise patient engagement strategy.

• Oversee system enhancements, break/fix resolutions, and continuous optimization across MyChart and digital engagement platforms.

• Collaborate with clinical, operational, marketing, access, and IT teams to gather requirements and refine workflows.

• Support MyChart initiatives that include patient onboarding, care coordination, provider matching, self-scheduling, and virtual care tools.

• Propel the adoption, usability, and optimization of digital patient engagement solutions and digital access pathways.

• Engage in implementations, upgrades, workflow redesigns, and post-live optimization activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Epic Certification or Accreditation in Ambulatory and MyChart.

• Experience in supporting Epic Hello World.

• Familiarity with Provider Finder functionality and/or substantial experience with digital front door initiatives within Epic.

• 3–4+ years of experience in healthcare IT, including at least 2 years supporting Epic systems.

• Practical experience in supporting Epic Ambulatory and MyChart workflows.

• Comprehensive understanding of patient engagement strategy, digital access, and healthcare information systems.

• Experience in supporting implementations, upgrades, and production support in large healthcare environments.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across operational and technical teams.

• Excellent communication and workflow optimization skills.

• Preferred: Experience with MyChart Care Companion.

• Preferred: Experience with MyChart Welcome.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting provider search, provider matching, self-scheduling, or online patient acquisition strategies.

• Preferred: Multiple Epic certifications.

• Preferred: 5–7+ years of experience with Epic Ambulatory/MyChart.

• Preferred: ITIL Foundation certification.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in IT, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.

• Preferred: Experience leading EHR optimization, patient engagement, or digital transformation initiatives.

• Preferred: Experience working in highly matrixed healthcare organizations with enterprise-wide digital access strategies.
