This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Design and implement the growth strategy for the Music Education dealer and channel.
• Set both annual and long-term goals regarding revenue, margins, market penetration, dealer performance, national contracts, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Lead and enhance Wenger's Music Education dealer program, which includes partner segmentation, commercial strategy, pricing, coverage models, program requirements, performance standards, and channel effectiveness.
• Recruit, nurture, and oversee dealer and channel partners.
• Increase market coverage and enhance partner capabilities.
• Assess partner performance and take corrective actions when required.
• Formulate and execute growth plans for key dealers, national accounts, and purchasing programs.
• Spot opportunities to grow market share, fortify strategic relationships, and boost revenue growth.
• Manage national contracts, purchasing programs, and key channel partnerships.
• Ensure robust performance, effective renewals, pricing execution, compliance, and continuous business development.
• Guide, mentor, and develop Territory Sales representatives.
• Set priorities, accountability, performance expectations, and development plans.
• Align efforts of dealers, customers, and the sales team to create and convert pipelines.
• Assist in strategic opportunities and coordinate major bids.
• Define ownership of opportunities and foster collaboration between dealers and Wenger's sales organization.
• Act as the business leader for the Music Education channel.
• Utilize market intelligence and spearhead cross-functional initiatives.
• Establish essential performance metrics.
• Represent the perspectives of customers and dealers.
• Achieve sales, profit, and strategic growth targets.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of proven leadership experience in driving growth through dealers, distributors, channel partners, national accounts, or other indirect sales models.
• Experience in business development, partner management, strategic accounts, and commercial execution.
• Proven track record of crafting and implementing multi-year channel growth strategies.
• Success in developing, expanding, optimizing, and managing dealer, distributor, or channel partner networks.
• Experience in translating dealer and channel strategies into repeatable business processes, programs, and growth initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of dealer economics, incentive structures, selling processes, territory and coverage models, customer buying processes, and manufacturer-partner relationships.
• High level of commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives that involve Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Operations, Finance, and Customer Experience.
• Proficient in using a CRM.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Experience in music education, performing arts, institutional, durable goods, or other project-based markets served through dealer, distributor, or channel-partner networks is preferred.
• Experience in leading or expanding dealer, distributor, national-account, cooperative-contract, or channel relationships on a national or multi-regional scale is preferred.
• Experience utilizing dealer, customer, and market insights to influence commercial programs, channel strategies, market-development priorities, product opportunities, and new business initiatives is preferred.
• Salesforce experience is preferred.
