MRI Technologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Utilize advanced telemedicine technology to remotely oversee MRI scans, ensuring high image quality and precision.

• Maintain ongoing visual contact with patients during MRI scans.

• Communicate with onsite personnel through chat or phone.

• Assess onsite patient screening and identify any safety concerns or contraindications.

• Choose suitable MRI scan protocols.

• Remotely operate MRI equipment in conjunction with onsite technologists or healthcare providers.

• Diagnose and resolve equipment and operational challenges.

• Ensure adherence to MRI and patient safety standards.

• Record patient information, procedures, and outcomes.

• Keep detailed records of imaging sessions.

• Monitor image quality and diagnostic accuracy.

• Stay updated on MRI technology, telemedicine practices, and Massachusetts healthcare regulations.

• Engage in training and continuing education initiatives.

• Manage patient data and electronic records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current ARRT license.

• Minimum of 3 years of independent MRI Technologist scanning experience.

• Completion of an accredited MRI certification program or a related discipline.

• Strong knowledge of MRI protocols, physics, and imaging software.

• Familiarity with remote telemedicine platforms and virtual healthcare technologies.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and associated technology.

• Capability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adjust to evolving technology and protocols.

• Compliance with HIPAA regulations and Massachusetts healthcare standards.
