MQ Architect / MQ Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and execute integration solutions utilizing IBM MQ/MFT.

• Develop and support cloud infrastructure on AWS.

• Create MQ environments that are both highly available and scalable.

• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes using Terraform/IaC.

• Write Python scripts and develop automation solutions.

• Implement security measures, monitoring, logging, and disaster recovery strategies.

• Collaborate closely with DevOps and application teams on CI/CD and cloud integration efforts.

• Diagnose and enhance enterprise MQ and cloud environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant experience as an MQ Architect or Integration Engineer.

• Extensive knowledge of IBM MQ and IBM MFT.

• Practical experience with AWS Cloud and DevOps methodologies.

• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, EC2, ASG, ELB, SFTP, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and Lambda.

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly with Terraform and Packer.

• Understanding of high availability, load balancing, and failover architecture.

• Experience using version control tools like Git, SVN, or others.

• Solid experience in Python scripting.

• Knowledge of JSON, YAML, Boto3, and other related technologies.

• Strong grasp of enterprise security architecture and secure software systems.
