Motor Claims Team Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Lead, manage, support, and cultivate a high-performing motor claims team.

• Provide daily leadership, coaching, and technical expertise.

• Supervise the effective management of motor claims and complaints.

• Ensure outstanding customer outcomes, strong client relationships, and adherence to service standards.

• Serve as a key technical reference for intricate claims and complaints.

• Guarantee claims are processed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with client needs, regulatory requirements, and internal quality benchmarks.

• Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues throughout the organization.

• Promote service excellence and ensure that KPIs and service level agreements are met.

• Monitor performance metrics and uphold data integrity.

• Ensure high-caliber claims management.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.

• Contribute to the continual development of the service.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, or supervising claims professionals in a motor claims setting, or relevant skills for the next career advancement.

• Comprehensive understanding of Motor Damage claims processes and procedures.

• Experience in managing claims throughout their entire lifecycle.

• A CIP qualification (or higher) is mandatory.

• Quality Assurance experience is a plus.

• Capability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

• Proficient IT skills, including experience with claims management systems and databases.

• Experience in managing team performance in relation to KPIs and service level agreements.

• Strong technical knowledge of claims and the ability to assist with complex claims issues.

• Ability to identify opportunities for process enhancement, improved service delivery, and operational efficiency.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong planning, prioritization, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to maintain focus under pressure.

• Compliant with the Central Bank of Ireland Minimum Competency Code (MCC).

• This role is classified as a Controlled function (CF5, CF6 & CF7).

• Subject to Fitness and Probity Standards and the requirements of the Individual Accountability Framework Act 2023.
