Motion Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Edit tutorials and social media materials demonstrating how to utilize the John Deere platform, incorporating motion graphics, dynamic captioning, transitions, and edited pacing.

• Convert webinars, training sessions, and onboarding presentations into comprehensive versions, brief clips, and highlight reels.

• Edit footage captured in the field, at events, and during agricultural industry conferences with quick turnaround times.

• Ensure the consistency of visual identity and messaging across various formats.

• Organize and manage project files, assets, and reusable templates efficiently.

• Update video content as the platform progresses, identifying outdated tutorials and suggesting revisions.

• Work alongside the Field Adoption team to pinpoint recurring themes for explainer videos.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in motion design and video editing for social media and/or educational content (portfolio/reel required).

• Proficient in CapCut and at least one professional editing software (Adobe Premiere and/or After Effects).

• Strong understanding of pacing and visual storytelling in short formats (reels, TikTok/Instagram-style tutorials).

• Capability to work with gimbal-recorded footage, preferably with experience using Insta360 or similar devices, as well as with field recordings.

• Ability to execute tasks based on pre-defined scripts or briefs, without the need for constant creative guidance.

• Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to meet deadlines within a high-volume production schedule (monthly editorial calendar).

• Advanced proficiency in English (required).

• Advanced proficiency in Spanish (a plus).

• Basic graphic design capabilities (Figma, Canva, or similar) for occasional mockups or static assets (nice-to-have).

• General knowledge of agriculture or an interest in agtech (nice-to-have).

• Experience in creating tutorial or onboarding video content (nice-to-have).
