Mortgage Regulatory Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee federal, state, and agency regulations to offer compliance guidance for the implementation of necessary changes.

• Keep up-to-date with the company's services, policies, and procedures.

• Support the development and execution of written policies and procedures.

• Aid in compliance monitoring and preparation for federal and/or state audits, regulatory examinations, licensing obligations, and quality assurance assessments.

• Assist in reviewing marketing and advertising materials to ensure adherence to TILA regulations.

• Utilize advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities while independently managing multiple projects.

• Engage with company associates.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

• At least 3–5 years of experience in mortgage regulatory compliance and familiarity with investor guidelines.

• Knowledge of NMLS licensing requirements, rules, and procedures.

• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and FrontPage.

• Detail-oriented professional with strong analytical capabilities and a quick learning aptitude.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively multitasking.

• Strong organizational skills with the capability to meet deadlines promptly.

• Proven team player who can work swiftly, accurately, and independently with all levels of management.
