This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver exceptional service to mortgage clients and prospects both in-person and via telephone.
• Address client inquiries and resolve any issues they may encounter.
• Serve as a primary point of contact following the initial loan decision and establish expectations for the application timeline.
• Update clients on the progress of their applications and closing timelines.
• Inform clients about necessary conditions and documentation required.
• Gather supporting documentation based on underwriting conditions and AUS requirements, then upload it to the eFolder.
• Regularly meet with the Mortgage Advisor to oversee and review the mortgage pipeline.
• Provide updates on statistics as necessary.
• Handle client escalations in collaboration with the Mortgage Advisor.
• Review Closing Disclosures with the Mortgage Advisor and client to ensure that fees and cash align with the client commitment.
• Examine files for completeness of applications and required supporting documentation.
• Escalate any file requirements to the Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Processing Manager.
• Monitor Regulation B timelines and ensure that necessary notices, underwriting returns, and incomplete-file closures are managed correctly.
• Guarantee that files are processed in accordance with Regulation B requirements and in a timely manner.
• Address clients' business and personal financial needs, referring them to Trust, Investments, Insurance, Treasury Management, and other specialized areas as needed.
• Support team members as required and carry out additional assigned tasks.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services and/or mortgage lending.
• A college degree is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or similar software.
• Familiarity with federal banking regulations and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, USDA, VA, and Jumbo loan underwriting guidelines.
• Comprehensive understanding of bank products and services.
• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with loan documentation processes and procedures.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform accurately under pressure.
• Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent client service capabilities.
• Demonstrated tact and diplomacy when interacting with clients and team members.
• May require successful NMLS registration and the issuance of a unique identification number within a specified timeframe after employment, including a nationwide fingerprint check.
• Physical capability to perform listed activities, including prolonged periods of sitting and standing, manual dexterity, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.
