Mortgage Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Direct the Mortgage/Consumer Lending department by supervising supervisors and/or operations managers.

• Guarantee operational efficiency and achievement of targeted outcomes.

• Provide expertise in operational, technical, and functional aspects of work policies and procedures.

• Plan, lead, troubleshoot issues, analyze, and report on activities within the assigned department.

• Design and execute methods and procedures aimed at enhancing daily operations.

• Implement changes to departmental policies and develop unit-specific policies and procedures.

• Collaborate and communicate with operations personnel.

• Contribute to strategic planning and short-term initiatives.

• Lead projects at the department or division level and represent the department in external projects.

• Assist in the annual budgeting process while maintaining financial accountability.

• Oversee staffing, performance evaluations, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations.

• Supervise the training and development of direct reports.

• Ensure effective contingency planning and adherence to regulatory compliance within the department.

• Manage a team of over 15 employees, including supervisors and operations managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or four to five years of relevant experience in place of a degree.

• At least four years of experience in operations.

• Minimum of four years in a supervisory or management role.

• Registration under the SAFE Act is mandatory.

• A Master's Degree is preferred.
