Mortgage Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Oversee a Mortgage/Consumer Lending department, managing supervisors and/or operations managers.

• Ensure the department operates efficiently and meets targeted outcomes.

• Provide expertise on operational, technical, and functional aspects of work policies and procedures.

• Lead planning, problem-solving, analysis, and reporting activities for the designated department.

• Develop and execute strategies to enhance daily operations.

• Enforce changes in departmental policies and establish unit policies and procedures.

• Communicate and collaborate with operations staff effectively.

• Contribute to strategic planning initiatives and short-term goals.

• Manage contingency plans and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

• Oversee multiple projects at the department or division level and represent the department on external projects.

• Assist in the annual budget process while maintaining financial accountability.

• Manage staffing processes, including performance evaluations, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations.

• Supervise the training and development of direct reports.

• Direct both daily and strategic operations of the department.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or four to five years of relevant experience as a substitute for a degree.

• At least four years of experience in operations.

• Minimum of four years in a supervisory or management role.

• Registration under the SAFE Act is mandatory.

• A Master's Degree is preferred.
