This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Establish and cultivate referral connections, including customer referrals, real estate agents, builders, and both professional and personal contacts, to drive residential mortgage loan sales and develop a sales pipeline.

• Take full responsibility for residential mortgage loans from application through to closing.

• Gather necessary documentation from each applicant.

• Input 1003 applications into the Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS).

• Stay informed about available loan products.

• Originate permanent single-family (1–4), FHA, VA, USDA, jumbo, and conventional mortgage loan products.

• Report to and work collaboratively with the Branch Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least one year of relevant experience in self-generating mortgage loans.

• Connections and referrals with local real estate agents, builders, etc.

• NMLS License required.

• Familiarity with conventional and/or government lending guidelines.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (Excel, Word) or other comparable software applications.

• A strong ambition to succeed in a competitive landscape.

• Must register as a Mortgage Loan Originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and maintain the unique identifying registration number as stipulated by the S.A.F.E. Act.

• Experience with Encompass LOS is advantageous.
