Mortgage Branch Manager II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead direct sales and business development initiatives to ensure the branch's overall profitability.

• Ensure the center meets its operational objectives and achieves its goals.

• Foster employee development through continuous coaching and performance management.

• Attract top talent to support the ongoing growth of the center.

• Recruit, hire, and train branch staff effectively.

• Provide motivation and support to maximize production levels.

• Establish and manage the budget and income goals in accordance with company guidelines.

• Communicate and enforce team objectives and performance standards.

• Oversee loan quality and ensure compliance with federal, state, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.

• Coach, motivate, train, lead, and conduct performance evaluations.

• Organize meetings and presentations with referral partners.

• Process customer residential mortgage loan applications and gather asset/income information.

• Analyze customer financial data to assess eligibility for various loan options.

• Advise customers on available mortgage products and options.

• Manage workflow to ensure timely loan closings.

• Define and manage customer expectations throughout the loan process.

• Maintain knowledge of products and stay updated on changes in market conditions.

• Negotiate mortgage rates and terms effectively.

• Establish and nurture relationships with referral sources and follow up on leads.

• Market, service, and promote the company’s loan offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years of experience as a mortgage loan originator.

• Must hold the appropriate licenses from the relevant regulator in each state where he/she takes loan applications.

• Proven ability to recruit, hire, and train branch personnel successfully.

• Demonstrated capability to effectively manage a sales team.

• Experience with FHA/VA & USDA loans is preferred.

• NMLS certification is preferred.

• Must have two or more full-time direct reports.
