This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Support the Mortgage Regional Manager in overseeing and guiding Mortgage Loan Originators to meet production targets, achieve operational excellence, foster growth, and enhance regional profitability.
• Maintain an active personal pipeline of retail mortgage loans.
• Recruit, interview, and develop talent.
• Actively engage in retaining current employees and managing their performance.
• Participate in local and state mortgage banking, real estate, and builder trade associations.
• Keep abreast of key issues in the mortgage industry.
• Convey business goals, objectives, and company performance outcomes to the team.
• Foster a productive sales environment through training, individual and team coaching, and the development of marketing materials.
• Serve as a liaison between U.S. Bank Home Mortgage and other departments and areas within the company.
• Build collaborative relationships with other lines of business at U.S. Bank.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years of experience as a Retail Mortgage Loan Originator.
• Minimum of two years in a supervisory role.
• Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) is required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
• Successful completion of the NMLS registration process, which includes a criminal background check and credit evaluation.
• Must maintain satisfactory criminal and credit records for NMLS registration.
• In-depth knowledge of sales and sales strategies.
• Strong management and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-developed skills in customer service and relations.
• Proven track record in new business development and relationship management.
• Comprehensive understanding of mortgage products and services, operations, and current market trends.
• Ability to adhere to U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct as well as workplace conduct and safety policies.
• Capability to meet employment eligibility verification requirements.
