Mortgage Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee project tasks by delegating and prioritizing assignments, while conducting weekly follow-ups on pending documents.

• Ensure timely completion of new tasks.

• Record comprehensive notes in the system whenever a task is addressed.

• Assess preliminary documents to establish the type of project review required.

• Notify the underwriter and processor of any discrepancies in the requested documents.

• Confirm that projects have not been rejected by investors.

• Identify issues related to project ineligibility and alert the manager accordingly.

• Upload relevant documents to external vendors and ensure final vendor documents are uploaded as well.

• Respond to emails within the timeframes specified by Project Procedures.

• Contact HOAs, management companies, and insurance agents to obtain necessary loan-file documents.

• Review documents to verify that all required information is received and follow up on any missing items.

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management as needed.

• Preferred mortgage experience, although not mandatory.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and task-oriented individual.

• Exceptional organizational abilities and capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Ability to adjust to changes within the department.

• Strong skills in problem-solving.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Proficient in technology.

• High-speed internet is essential for remote work.

• Only cable or fiber internet is acceptable, with Ethernet connectivity required.

• Minimum internet speeds: 70/30 Mbps basic, 200–300/35–70 Mbps shared, or 500–1,000/100+ Mbps for heavy use.
