This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and tailor a Moodle App-based application to meet institutional specifications.

• Connect Moodle with external systems using REST APIs and authentication services.

• Implement security and performance best practices within mobile environments.

• Oversee the maintenance of plugins and specific modules utilized by the application.

• Work collaboratively with design and educational teams to enhance user experience.

• Track mobile application usage and analyze performance metrics.

• Assist in the testing, approval, and launch processes for app stores (Google Play and the App Store).

• Keep technical documentation updated on all customizations completed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or holding an undergraduate degree in Information Technology or a closely related field.

• A postgraduate qualification (specialization, master’s, or doctoral degree) in Information Technology or a related field, encompassing at least 360 hours.

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in the IT sector.

• At least 2 years of specialized experience in developing and customizing Moodle-based solutions, particularly focused on integrating and modifying the official mobile application (Moodle App), including a solid understanding of its architecture.

• Familiarity with mobile development, Moodle architecture, and APIs, along with Moodle App customization.

• In-depth knowledge of Moodle architecture, including PHP, databases, and web services.

• Proficient in frameworks such as Ionic, Angular, and Cordova.

• Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) and federated authentication methods (OAuth 2.0, SAML).

• Awareness of digital accessibility standards in educational contexts.

• Acquainted with CI/CD tools relevant to the Moodle App lifecycle.
