This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee IT systems, applications, interfaces, cloud services, and comprehensive service operations.

• Evaluate monitoring alerts, incidents, and performance irregularities based on their significance.

• Take necessary actions in response to threshold violations, outages, and availability concerns.

• Manage and enhance monitoring tools, dashboards, alert configurations, and escalation procedures.

• Assist with Incident, Problem, Event, and Change Management in ongoing IT activities.

• Examine trends, capacity, and recurring operational challenges to ensure long-term stability.

• Keep detailed and traceable documentation of incidents, actions taken, operational proof, and lessons learned.

• Provide operational support for IT projects, system implementations, and service modifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a similar IT qualification.

• Several years of experience in IT operations, monitoring, or system administration.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools, preferably Checkmk.

• Understanding of IT infrastructures, including servers, networks, databases, applications, APIs, and cloud services.

• Expertise in ITSM processes related to Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Management.

• Proficient in handling SNMP v2/v3, Windows Server, Linux, networking basics, and interface monitoring.

• Ideally, knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or SQL.

• Proficient in both German and English languages.

• A structured, analytical, responsible, and service-oriented work approach.
