Monitoring Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop alerts for capacity, availability, and performance for monitored assets.

• Diagnose and modify configurations in monitoring tools.

• Manage the addition and removal of assets from monitoring, updating inventory as changes occur.

• Oversee alert monitoring and direct them to the appropriate teams for resolution.

• Install and maintain monitoring tools like Zabbix and Grafana.

• Generate tailored reports and dashboards utilizing monitoring data.

• Conduct daily monitoring of issues and address technical support incidents.

• Handle incidents of low, medium, and high complexity.

• Implement and supervise projects related to monitoring.

• Configure, fine-tune, and uphold monitoring assets and tools.

• Manage incident resolutions by taking corrective measures or escalating issues to the relevant teams.

• Create reports and data visualizations to monitor asset performance and status.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed or in-progress higher education, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.

• Practical experience with SNMPv1, SNMPv2, SNMPv3, and SNMP Traps network protocols.

• Practical experience with network services on both Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Intermediate proficiency with monitoring tools like Zabbix and Grafana.

• Understanding of TCP/IP networks and SNMP monitoring protocols.

• Intermediate skills in managing DNS, Web Server, FTP, and Docker network services in both Windows and Linux environments.

• Basic understanding of information security concepts.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting incidents of various complexities.
