Money Movement Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver first-level support for Money Movement inquiries via calls, chats, emails, service requests, and other approved communication channels.

• Evaluate incoming requests for completeness, urgency, risk assessment, member impact, appropriate routing, and escalation needs.

• Investigate routine transaction inquiries and exceptions utilizing internal systems, documented procedures, and established controls.

• Assist with ACH operations, including research, setup or modification requests, stop payment assistance, report reviews, and exception follow-ups.

• Provide support for check, draft, remote deposit capture, and inclearing activities, encompassing research, file assistance, stop payment support, and exception documentation.

• Aid with wire-related inquiries by collecting information, reviewing documentation, monitoring request statuses, and escalating any concerns.

• Support operational activities related to Fedline Advantage, branch cash, foreign currency, and similar tasks.

• Assist in general ledger research and reconciliation tasks.

• Recognize and escalate any unusual, suspicious, incomplete, high-risk, or time-sensitive activities.

• Ensure accurate ticket notes, audit trails, documentation, and updates for service requests are maintained.

• Engage with members, branches, contact center teams, internal departments, and business partners.

• Facilitate daily queue management, backlog reduction, cross-training, and opportunities for process improvement.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• At least one (1) year of experience in money movement.

• Experience in a financial institution, operations, branch, contact center, member service, accounting, administrative support, or a similar environment is preferred.

• Basic understanding of money movement operations, including ACH, wires, checks, remote deposit capture, branch cash, foreign currency, general ledger research, and related payment functions.

• Foundational knowledge of transaction research, payment operations, deposit operations, service requests, case management, or comparable operational workflows.

• Basic comprehension of fraud awareness, internal controls, confidentiality expectations, and regulatory requirements pertaining to financial transactions.

• Capability to adhere to documented procedures, apply established controls, and identify when escalation is necessary.

• Strong attention to detail with accurate routine processing, research, documentation, and ticket updates.

• Ability to organize tasks, manage service queues, prioritize time-sensitive requests, and fulfill deadlines.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

• Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Working knowledge of ACH rules, OFAC requirements, Regulation E, Regulation CC, Bank Secrecy Act, anti-money laundering regulations, and Federal Reserve processing standards.

• Ability to learn and utilize core processing systems, payment processing tools, ticketing, case management software, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Capacity to work collaboratively, adapt to shifting priorities, and enhance operational knowledge through cross-training.

• Availability from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Willingness to work rotating Saturdays from 9:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
