Modern Workplace M365 Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise solutions within Microsoft 365, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID, Power Platform, and Copilot technologies.

• Ensure governance, security, and operational standards are upheld.

• Lead the technical implementation of Modern Workplace initiatives.

• Convert business needs into scalable technical solutions and execute projects independently.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, department leaders, and peer IT teams.

• Create automation and administrative tools using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and other supported APIs.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate issues within the Microsoft 365 platform through root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective measures.

• Represent the Modern Workplace Engineering team in significant forums.

• Identify and seize opportunities to automate repetitive administrative tasks and enhance operational workflows.

• Investigate unfamiliar technologies, assess solution alternatives, and propose technically robust approaches.

• Maintain ownership of designated tasks throughout the implementation and operational support phases.

• Guide peers by sharing engineering best practices.

• Report directly to the Modern Workplace Engineering Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Microsoft 365 product administration.

• Advanced administrative experience across Microsoft 365, encompassing SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Entra ID.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Proficient understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.

• Experience in developing automation solutions using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, or Power Platform technologies.

• Proven experience in designing and supporting enterprise SharePoint Online solutions, including governance, site lifecycle management, permissions, automation, and integration with Microsoft 365 services.

• Knowledge of patch management, compliance, and security best practices.
