Model Risk Analyst, Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute technical re-evaluations of internal models.

• Carry out sophisticated statistical testing to evaluate the effectiveness, durability, and assumptions of operational models.

• Examine intricate datasets and critically assess model methodologies and outcomes.

• Maintain and update the model inventory while overseeing its lifecycle.

• Ensure adherence to governance protocols.

• Process and analyze data while automating workflows.

• Create clear, well-organized technical documentation and reports to aid in decision-making.

• Utilize modeling or validation expertise in designated financial sectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Process and analyze data and automate workflows using Python, R, and SQL.

• Familiarity with modeling or validation relevant to Credit, Credit Risk, Market and Liquidity Risk, Fraud, or Anti-Money Laundering (AML).

• Educational background in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related disciplines, with a solid grounding in probability and statistical inference.

• Intermediate proficiency in English, with strong reading skills to understand technical documentation, reports, and international publications.

• Hands-on experience with Databricks.

• Knowledge of SAS and VBA.

• Awareness of Generative AI and Machine Learning.

• Capability to interpret financial sector regulations and regulatory guidelines.

• Expertise with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, or Looker.
