πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Assist in the implementation and management of distributed mobilization initiatives that engage grassroots members and leaders in both planned and rapid-response efforts.

β€’ Evaluate program outcomes and create debriefs that highlight successes and areas for improvement.

β€’ Monitor mobilization trends and campaign progress to guide program development.

β€’ Oversee program expenditures by submitting receipts and spending requests promptly.

β€’ Develop and sustain resources for hosts, including toolkits, training presentations, and support documentation.

β€’ Facilitate the onboarding process for new hosts and provide guidance on event execution.

β€’ Participate in host support calls and coalition discussions, addressing inquiries and directing issues as necessary.

β€’ Contribute to mobilization efforts within coalitions.

β€’ Aid in the swift deployment of grassroots mobilization resources in response to emerging events.

β€’ Maintain daily interactions with partners and grassroots leaders.

β€’ Report to the Associate Director of Mobilization while collaborating with the wider Mobilization team and coalition partners.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ 1–3 years of experience in organizing, training, mobilization, or campaign roles, encompassing electoral, advocacy, or large-scale volunteer initiatives.

β€’ Knowledge of grassroots organizing models and distributed organizing practices.

β€’ Excellent written communication skills.

β€’ Proficient in creating host-facing toolkits, training resources, and program debriefs.

β€’ Capable of remaining organized and composed across multiple simultaneous programs, particularly during rapid-response situations.

β€’ Comfortable facilitating or assisting with calls involving hosts and partners.

β€’ Experience in supporting coalition or multi-organization campaigns is preferred.

β€’ Established connections within the progressive mobilization and organizing community are preferred.

β€’ Previous experience in a distributed or remote organizing setting is preferred.
