Mobile Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver empathetic, Fear Free-aligned in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care.

• Assist families during the end-of-life journey.

• Guide families in making decisions regarding their pets' end-of-life care.

• Foster relationships with local veterinary clinics as an extension of their services.

• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of medical records.

• Collaborate with medical leadership and supporting teams.

• Operate independently in the field.

• Engage in ongoing training, education, and clinical development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from an accredited veterinary institution.

• Active veterinary license in the state of practice, or the ability to obtain one.

• Valid U.S. driver's license.

• Availability to work some weekends as part of a rotating schedule.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

• Subject to a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check after hiring and prior to the start date.

• Compassionate, emotionally intelligent, and client-oriented.

• Comfortable working autonomously in the field.

• Strong communication skills in emotionally sensitive situations.

• Experience in hospice, palliative care, or Fear Free certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
