Mobile Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver compassionate and Fear Free-aligned in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care.

• Offer in-home euthanasia and hospice services for elderly and terminally ill pets.

• Assist and guide families through the end-of-life decisions and procedures.

• Establish relationships with local veterinary clinics and act as an extension of their care.

• Ensure accurate and timely medical documentation is maintained.

• Work collaboratively with medical leadership and support teams.

• Engage in continuous training, education, and clinical development.

• Operate independently in the field while receiving support from medical leadership, Veterinary Care Specialists, and operational teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from an accredited veterinary institution.

• Active veterinary license in the state of practice, or the ability to obtain one.

• A valid U.S. driver's license.

• Availability to work some weekends as part of a rotating schedule.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

• Background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check required after hiring and prior to the start date.

• Experience in hospice, palliative care, or Fear Free certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
