Mobile Veterinarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Deliver empathetic, Fear Free-aligned in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care.

• Offer in-home euthanasia and hospice services for elderly and terminally ill pets.

• Assist and support families in navigating end-of-life decisions and processes.

• Establish partnerships with local veterinary clinics as an extension of their services.

• Ensure accurate and prompt medical documentation is maintained.

• Collaborate with medical leadership and support teams effectively.

• Engage in continuous training, education, and clinical development.

• Operate independently in the field with support from veterinary care specialists and operational teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or BVMS) from a recognized veterinary institution.

• Valid veterinary license in the state of practice, or the ability to obtain one.

• Current U.S. driver's license.

• Willingness to work some weekends as part of a rotating schedule.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and up to 100 lbs with help.

• Successful completion of a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check after hiring and prior to the start date.

• Compassionate, emotionally aware, and client-oriented.

• Comfortable working autonomously in the field.

• Excellent communication skills in emotionally charged situations.

• Certification in hospice, palliative care, or Fear Free methods is advantageous but not mandatory.
