Mobile Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise the upkeep and repair of mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems.

• Assess work orders and estimate the time and materials required for repairs.

• Maintain a sufficient inventory of supplies and tools.

• Establish preventive maintenance programs for building machinery and systems.

• Oversee repair activities and emergency maintenance tasks.

• Review inspections of fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing, and other building and industrial systems.

• Ensure adherence to applicable codes, regulations, governmental standards, company policies, and work-safety protocols.

• Operate company-provided vehicles for daily job responsibilities.

• Apply engineering principles and techniques to complex assignments and offer innovative solutions.

• Mentor others and share expertise in job-specific disciplines.

• Exemplify and promote CBRE RISE values through leadership.

• Foster consensus and persuade others to achieve agreement.

• Support customer service, operational, project, and service initiatives across related teams.

• Communicate complex or sensitive information effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school certification with 4-5 years of relevant job experience.

• In the absence of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be evaluated.

• Universal CFC certification is mandatory.

• A valid Driver’s license is required.

• Previous experience as a shift manager or in a supervisory role is preferred.

• Capability to fulfill physical demands, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying 50 lbs. or more.

• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple information sources.

• Openness to re-evaluate existing solutions with a fresh perspective.

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Strong organizational skills combined with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
