Mobile Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.

📋 Description

• Conduct preventive maintenance and perform corrective repairs on buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds.

• Supervise maintenance and repairs for mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems.

• Assess work orders, estimate time and materials, and ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and tools.

• Execute preventive maintenance programs and manage repairs and emergency maintenance tasks.

• Evaluate inspections of fire alarms, HVAC systems, plumbing, and other building and industrial systems.

• Ensure adherence to relevant codes, regulations, governmental requirements, company policies, and work-safety standards.

• Drive company-issued vehicles as part of daily work responsibilities.

• Apply technical principles and methodologies to complex assignments while developing innovative solutions.

• Mentor others and share expertise within job disciplines.

• Facilitate consensus and persuade others to reach agreements.

• Influence customer, operational, project, and service activities across related teams.

• Communicate complex or sensitive information effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of relevant job experience.

• A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a diploma.

• Universal CFC certification is mandatory.

• A valid Driver’s license is required.

• Previous experience as a shift manager or supervisor is preferred.

• Capability to meet physical demands, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying 50 lbs. or more.

• Ability to apply judgment based on the analysis of multiple information sources.

• Openness to re-evaluating existing solutions from new perspectives.

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Strong organizational skills coupled with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
